Are you interested in accrediting the training that you currently deliver?
You may be delivering training on behalf of local employers but have not considered the possibility of enabling the learners to gain a nationally recognised qualifications. ATHE is working with a number of colleges to develop qualifications based on programmes that they currently deliver.
One example is Cahro Academy. We have been working with them to develop small qualifications that accredit training that they currently deliver in the care sector. The first qualification will shortly be submitted to Ofqual for accreditation for delivery from September 2012.
If you currently run successful training programmes and would like learners’ achievement recognised through QCF qualifications please contact josh@atheuk.com to discuss how we can work together.
CAHRO Academy has been working collaboratively with ATHE to produce a short, accredited Dementia Awareness Course, that really meets the needs of the learner and care establishments. We have sought input from a number of experienced managers, trainers and assessors, to find out what they feel are the important elements of Dementia Awareness for the care team to understand and have selected the most popular aspects to create a new level 2 Award in Dementia Awareness.
